Brian turned his head just enough to make out Kevin's profile in the faint light streaming back from the front of the bus when he felt the dip of the couch as someone settled next to him. He sighed, letting his forehead rest against the window as he scooted over a bit, the warmth of Kevin's leg against his bleeding through his thin sweats.
"What's up, cuz?" Kevin voice was low, just barely audible over the thump thump thump of the tires and Brian found himself leaning closer to hear him.
"Not much," Brian made a face at himself in the reflection from the window, seeing Kevin's look of disbelief briefly illuminated as they went past a streetlight.
"Uh huh," Kevin replied as he wrapped an arm around Brian's shoulders, gently but firmly pulling him against his side. "Not much is why you've been tossing and turning for the last three hours? And I'm sure not much is why you're sitting out here enthralled by this fascinating scenery."
Brian wrinkled his nose at Kevin, biting back the urge to stick out his tongue. "It is so annoying how you do this." He nestled a bit closer into Kevin's side, not missing the smirk that flitted across Kevin's face as he turned to face him. "It is." Brian poked Kevin in the side. "Can't I be out here being all sad and gloomy without you feeling the need to try to find out what's wrong?"
"What do you think the odds are of the answer to that question being yes?" There was just enough light for Brian to see Kevin rolling his eyes. "So are you going to save us both some time and just tell me what's wrong so I can try to help and then we can get some sleep or do you want to play 20 questions and keep us up until dawn?"
"I don't know, 20 questions could be" Brian broke off as Kevin glared. "Right. I think I'll cut to the chase." He took a deep breath, then rested his head against Kevin's chest, fingers drumming nervously on Kevin's thigh. "I don't know, I'm exhausted all the time and worried all the time and hungry all the time and watching Nick trying to be all grown up is killing me and I miss my parents and I miss my bed and I miss my friends and. . ." Brian buried his face even further in Kevin's chest, voice muffled. "And I miss the hell out of you."
Brian felt Kevin's chest rise as he drew in a sharp breath, then long fingers were tipping up his chin and he blinked as he tried to focus. "God, Brian." Kevin stroked his cheek and Brian shivered under the gentle touch. "I know, I know it's been overwhelming lately and you've been incredible and yeah." Kevin let out a breath and Brian reached up, stroking some hair back, thumb smoothing out the furrows on his forehead. "Nick's," Kevin shook his head once sharply, "it's not easy seeing that. And, well," Kevin swiped a thumb over Brian's mouth and Brian shivered once again. "God, I've missed you too."
Brian felt a wry smile twist his mouth. "Which is stupid, since I see you all the time." Kevin snorted and Brian laughed, clamping a hand over his mouth as the sound echoed through the bus.
"Shh," now Kevin was grinning and Brian fought back the urge to laugh again. "We don't want to wake the rest of them up." Kevin licked his lips and Brian hissed. It had been far too long since they'd even had the chance to pretend they were alone. "We don't want them coming out here," Kevin murmurred as he leaned forward, breath ghosting against Brian's mouth.
"Hell, no." Brian reached up, pulling Kevin close. "That's the last thing we want." He closed his eyes, concentrating entirely on the heat of Kevin's mouth, the firm insistence of his tongue, the familiar weight of Kevin on top of him as Kevin slowly leaned him back, shifting just enough so that they didn't fall off the couch.
Brian skimmed a hand up under Kevin's shirt, grateful both that the rest of the fellas tended to sleep like the dead when the bus was in motion and that Kevin somehow maintained the ability to be hyperaware while driving Brian out of his mind. He groaned as Kevin bit at his Adam's apple, fingers digging into Kevin's back.
Kevin lifted his head just enough to say "shhhh" before he slid off the couch, tugging Brian's sweats down as he did so. "We definitely don't want to wake them up now." Kevin licked at the head of Brian's cock, fingers brushing up the inside of his thigh. "Don't want to have to stop."
Brian clenched at the cushions, fighting to stay quiet as Kevin continued to slowly lick him. "That would, would be bad. God, Kev," he thumped his head off the back of the couch as Kevin gently scraped his teeth up his erection. "How the hell am I supposed to be quiet when you do that?"
There was no audible reply, but Kevin did raise his other hand to cover Brian's mouth and Brian bit down on Kevin's fingers, trying to resist the urge to thrust as Kevin took him further into his mouth. Brian stroked his fingers through Kevin's hair, finally abadoning any hope of control as Kevin started to hum. "Bastard," Brian panted out as Kevin leaned back, swiping the back of a hand over his mouth.
"Oh, yes, I'm so sorry," Kevin licked at Brian's neck and Brian grinned. "The awful things I do to you."
"Uh huh," Brian slid off the couch and onto Kevin's legs, sliding a hand between them and running his palm up Kevin's erection. "Now it's my turn." He didn't give Kevin a chance to respond, kissing Kevin deeply and swallowing his moan as he stroked Kevin, twisting his wrist in the way he knew drove Kevin nuts. It didn't take that long until Kevin was bucking up beneath him and Brian had to press his own hand over Kevin's mouth. "If they wake up, it's your fault." Brian slid off Kevin's legs, nudging his shoulder, then licking his fingers clean.
Brian yawned as Kevin cocked his head, listening. "Nah, they're still asleep." Brian blinked as Kevin pushed to his feet, taking Kevin's outstretched hand, stumbling into Kevin's chest as he pulled him to his feet. "Which is what we should be doing." Brian yawned again as Kevin led them back to his bunk.
"Won't this be a bit suspicious?" Brian scooted over to make room for Kevin, curling on his side and bringing Kevin's arm around his waist.
"Nope," Kevin snuffled against Brian's neck. "They know you like to be with me when you can't sleep."
Brian smiled as he started to drift off, the feel of Kevin's heartbeat against his back lulling him to sleep.
